Warrant Records – Are You Being Arrested For an Outdated Type of Criminal Activity?
Warrant records are one of the most critical pieces of public information. When you apply for a job, or enter into any financial agreement with a business, you must have a copy of your criminal history declared at the time of application. In addition, you must be informed if you have ever been convicted of a felony by law enforcement and the full extent of your arrest record. If not, this is information you must disclose during your application process.
Warrant records are maintained by several different agencies within the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. These include the Criminal Justice Information Center (GCIM), the Missing Persons Information (MPI) and the Sex Offender Registry (SOAR). Typically, anyone who wishes to obtain a copy of a warrant must first fill out an application that includes specific information on their name and current address. Next, a copy of the original arrest warrant shall be provided to them. If the application is approved, the records will then be mailed to the applicant.
If the person does not have a copy of their current arrest warrant, they can arrange to have one issued or request the courts to issue a warrant of arrest. This will take place within approximately seven to ten days depending on how soon the courts have completed their processing. In order for the warrant to be valid, it must be executed by a properly named officer named on the court’s citation. Failure to do so will render the warrant void and render the person in question legally innocent of the crime.
In Arizona, warrants can only be granted for specific reasons. If a warrant is issued based on suspicion that a person has committed a crime, the person is under no legal obligation to show up in court. This means if a person is pulled over and there is an outstanding warrant out for their arrest, they may be pulled over again without any chance of proving their innocence. It is always better to have the criminal activity detailed in a police report than to have the word ” Arrest” on their record.
Warrant records are available online in states across the country. Some people believe that having a record makes them criminals. There are many reasons why someone could have multiple warrants out for their name. They may have multiple names registered in different areas of the country. They may also have a record for a crime that they did not commit. When people are accused of crimes, the government can issue a warrant for their arrest.
Warrant records are public information and can be searched online. A search of the Arizona Vital Records website may provide information regarding a person’s criminal history. For a fee, some of the state’s records are offered to the public. However, there is no guarantee as to whether a person has a warrant for their arrest.
