Criminal Background Check – How to Search For Warrants and Find Out What Happened

When you are doing background checks on people, you need to know about obtaining warrant records. You see, warrants are filed when there is suspicion of illegal activity or if there is a person’s arrest record. warrants are not the same as arrest records. A warrant is a court order that authorizes law enforcement officials to arrest a person if they have committed a certain crime. Arrest records just list the date of arrest and the reason for arrest, while warrants show all the information pertaining to the person’s arrest.

You can get detailed information about a person’s criminal history by performing a search on the internet. The best way to do this is to perform an online search. With a simple Google search (not recommended) you can find out a person’s legal name, current address, current employer, any previous arrests, current court records, marriage status etc. This information comes straight from the government. It’s not available through public records.

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of searching public records, you can get a non-free version of a criminal records check. However, many of the non-free records are outdated. And you can’t perform a nationwide search. Performing a statewide record search costs money. Warrant records are not expensive, and you can easily access the information needed for your background check.

Performing a criminal record check isn’t difficult. All you need to do is go to your favorite search engine and type in the person’s name. Make sure the name you typed in is the person’s full name. If it’s not the person’s full name, then just type in a partial name.

When you perform a search, you will be provided with a list of all felony and misdemeanor charges for which the person has been arrested. You should also be provided with a complete background history including any martial law arrests or court martial awards. The best websites will offer you both of these things, but most don’t. You should also be able to see if there are any public records that contain the person’s name at this point in their criminal history.

When you have these documents, you can perform an even deeper search. For instance, you can look for local warrants for the person. You will need to know the city, county, and state for each arrest. Then you can find out the details about the person such as how long they were in jail, when and where they were arrested, the crime they were charged with, how many times they were convicted, and so forth. If you don’t have those details, you probably shouldn’t be trusting the person with your personal information, unless you had a very good reason for doing so.
